A brand new 3D experience is coming to Marketplace Gungahlin at Easter, with Hoppy the Easter Bunny to star in the centre’s first augmented reality (AR) campaign.
From 1–23 April 2017, shoppers can bring Hoppy to life throughout the centre by downloading the free “Hoppy Days” app and taking a photo with the bunny himself to capture the memories.
“We’re excited to launch this new 3D experience at Marketplace this Easter, and who better to be the star than Hoppy the Easter Bunny?” said Maria Smith, Marketing Manager at Marketplace Gungahlin.
“It’s a great opportunity to bring Hoppy to life with the “Hoppy Days” app, by finding the four magic floor markers scattered throughout the centre.
“While in the app, point your smartphone or tablet at the marker and Hoppy will magically appear,” said Ms Smith.
The visual trail uses augmented reality and allows visitors to capture the moment, creating an immersive and exciting Easter adventure the whole family will enjoy.
There are four different places to find Hoppy throughout the centre, and shoppers can snap a photo with him and share it to social media with the hashtag #hoppydays to go in the draw to win a $200 gift card.
