The International Day of Planetaria will be held again on Sunday 12 March 2017, with Scienceworks treating kids and adults to a cosmic day of activities.
Scienceworks is thrilled to celebrate the International Day of Planetaria on Sunday 12th March 2017 at Scienceworks Museum from 10am-4.30pm.
On the day, visitors can come along to discover the wonder of the cosmos and learn about the galaxy in an experience unlike any other at the world renowned Planetarium.
The Scienceworks world renown Planetarium creates out of this world environments and awe-inspiring astronomical experiences so that this International Day of Planetaria guests can really experience the great beyond.
Visitors of all ages will be able to sit back and stargaze in a simulated display of the night sky that spans an expansive 16m domed ceiling with reclining seats, an immersive surround sound system and a full-dome video projection system.
On the day Scienceworks will have Planetarium shows and attractions for everyone, so little space cadets are more than welcome on the day.
Scienceworks will also be running an astro-themed Instagram dress up competition on the day with attendees invited to put on their best Saturn and dig up an Orion’s belt to win some great prizes at Scienceworks. The Scienceworks cafe will be open all day serving coffee, lunch and refreshments.
